Experiencing all these physiological/hormonal changes frequently (as you likely would doing a job like this) will do long term damage to your physical and mental health. Hormones are affected as well any negative emotions from fear to sadness inhibit the release of dopamine and increase cortisol. I mean emotions are physiological things that involve changes in heart rate, breathing, sweat, and often affect your stomach as well. If the dispatcher gets emotionally charged on every call they're also going to become emotionally drained very quickly. There's a 2nd factor to consider though in the dispatcher.
